# VOOI Arbitrage Desk
## Why Use Arbitrage Desk
**VOOI Arbitrage Desk** helps traders find and execute potential funding arbitrage setups across supported venues.
It findes possible cross-venue setups for a selected asset. It also provides current market data and historical spread charts, helping traders evaluate whether a funding or price difference is temporary or has persisted over time.
A typical funding arbitrage setup combines two opposing perpetual positions:
* a long position on one venue;
* a short position on another venue.
This can reduce exposure to the asset’s overall price direction while allowing the trader to target differences in funding rates between venues.
Arbitrage Desk lets traders review a potential setup and prepare both legs through VOOI Ultra instead of placing the orders manually on separate venue interfaces.
You can browse Arbitrage Desk without authorization. Authorization is required when you proceed to open a strategy.

## Typical Use Case or How to Use Arbitrage Desk
1. Open [VOOI Arbitrage Desk](https://ultra.vooi.io/arbitrage-desk).
2. Use the available filters to narrow the list of potential setups. You can:
* search for an asset,
* select or deselect venues,
* exclude tokens,
* set minimum volume or spread requirements.
3. Click the **+** icon next to an asset to expand the available venue combinations.
4. Select the venue pair you want to examine.
5. Review the current funding rates, price spread, historical charts, open interest, volume, and estimated slippage:\
6. Connect your wallet and complete any required authorization when you are ready to prepare the strategy.
7. Configure both legs of the strategy:
* select the leverage;
* select the order type;
* enter the position size for each leg.
8. Review the estimated execution details for both legs, including:
* available and required margin;
* position size;
* estimated entry price;
* estimated liquidation price;
* estimated slippage.
9. Click **Place hedge orders** when you are ready to proceed:\
10. Review the final order details confirm in the app and in your wallet.\
**Important:**
* Arbitrage Desk identifies potential setups but does not guarantee a profit.
* Funding rates and price spreads may change before or after the positions are opened.
* The long and short orders may execute at different prices or times.
* Trading fees, funding payments, slippage, liquidity, and liquidation risk may affect the final result.
* Each position is executed on its selected venue.
* Authorization is required when proceeding to open a strategy.
