At present, VOOI Pro supports Lighter, Aster, Hyperliquid, Orderly, and Ostium, with each integration including venue-specific trading features as well as support for rebates, referral programs, and airdrop participation. During Phase 1 VOOI also released a Telegram Mini App (@VooiAppBot) focused on onboarding through gamified and educational flows. Core platform improvements delivered in Phase 1 included multi-chain support, TradingView chart integration, Pyth oracle integration, and trading automation on Orderly via Alertatron bots. In 2025, VOOI introduced VOOI Light, built on a chain abstraction model that enables gasless trading through a unified cross-chain balance. The reward logic is linear and based on: * The user’s share of the total staking pool, * The time their tokens remain staked, * The current APR parameter (APR is a dynamic parameter that can be adjusted through governance or protocol configuration). ### Rewards Claiming Users can claim their rewards at any time. When a claim is made: * All claimed rewards are **automatically added** to the user’s active stake, * Once added to the stake, rewards can be withdrawn – **partially or in full** – by performing an unstake + withdrawal flow. ## Staking and Unstaking Users can stake or unstake any amount of tokens at any time: * There are **no minimum periods** required to begin earning rewards. * There are **no limits** on how many tokens must be staked, * There are **no staking or unstaking** fees charged by the protocol. **Seven-day unlock period** When a user requests to unstake, a 7-day unlock period begins. Arbitrage Desk provides the data to compare these strategies and lets traders open both legs from the same interface. ## How Arbitrage Desk Is Organized

The Arbitrage Desk has two main parts: * **Filters** help narrow the list of strategies by venue, token, volume, open interest, and spread. * **Strategies** are grouped by asset and shown with market **parameters** for comparing available long/short combinations. This guide explains how to use the filters, what the main strategy parameters mean, and how to review and open a strategy. ### Filters

Arbitrage Desk provides four ways to narrow the strategy list: * **Search:** find strategies for a specific asset by symbol or name. * **Venue filters:** select which venues to include in the results. * **Asset Class:** show only strategies from selected market categories. * **Filters menu:** apply additional requirements for tokens, volume, open interest, price spread, and funding spread. The Filters menu provides additional options to narrow the strategy list. Use the table below to see what each filter controls and when it may be useful.

Each strategy is shown with key market parameters that help compare funding, price differences, liquidity, and recent market conditions. Funding and spread estimates are shown **before trading fees**, unless stated otherwise. APR	Annual Percentage Rate Shows how much the strategy could earn over a year from the long and short positions if current conditions stayed the same. Use it to quickly compare strategies.
F Spread 8h	Funding Spread Shows how much the long and short positions together could gain or lose from funding over 8 hours if current conditions stayed the same. Use it to compare strategies over a shorter period instead of looking at the yearly APR.
Funding 8h	Funding Rate Shows how much each position currently pays or receives over 8 hours, and when the next payment happens. Use it to see what is happening on the long and short sides separately.
Max F 1h	Maximum Funding Spread Shows the highest F Spread 8h value seen during the last hour. Compare it with the current F Spread 8h to see whether the current value is close to its recent high.
Max F 24h	Maximum Funding Spread Shows the highest F Spread 8h value seen during the last 24 hours. Compare it with the current F Spread 8h to see how the current value compares with the rest of the day.
P Spread	Price Spread Shows the difference between the price where the long position buys and the price where the short position sells. A positive value means the short sells at a higher price than the long buys. Use it to see whether the price difference is favorable when opening the strategy.
P Spread @ Size	Price Spread at Size Shows the estimated P Spread for the position size selected in Settings, taking into account how much is actually available in the market at different prices. Use it before trading to see a more realistic spread for your intended position size.
Max P 1h	Maximum Price Spread Shows the highest P Spread seen during the last hour. Compare it with the current P Spread to see whether the current entry is close to the best price difference seen recently.
Max P 24h	Maximum Price Spread Shows the highest P Spread seen during the last 24 hours. Compare it with the current P Spread to see how today's current entry compares with earlier opportunities.
Price Impact	Shows how much your position size may change the price you actually get when the orders are filled. A value is shown for each leg. Check it before trading at your intended size. Lower values generally mean your order can be filled closer to the current market price.
Volume	Shows how much was traded in both markets during the last 24 hours. Use it to see how active the markets are. Higher volume generally makes it easier to trade larger positions.
OI	Open Interest Shows the total value of positions that are currently open in each market. Use it to judge whether the market is deep enough for your intended position size. The side with lower OI may be more limiting for a large position.
Price	Shows the price at which each position would currently open: the long buys and the short sells. Use it to see the entry price for each leg. The difference between these two prices is the P Spread.
P Change	Price Change Shows how much the price in each market has changed over the last 24 hours. Use it for additional context and to see whether the two markets have been moving similarly or differently.

### Understanding the Strategy List

Strategies are grouped by asset, and each asset may have several long/short combinations. Use the table below to understand how strategies are displayed and how to interact with the list.

Element	How to read and use it
Asset row	Shows the top strategy for that asset based on the table’s current sorting (for example, the highest APR when sorting by APR).
+ / −	Click + to expand the asset and view all available strategies. Click − to collapse the list again.
Expanded rows	Each row represents a separate long/short strategy for the same asset.
Exchange	The top market is the long leg and the bottom market is the short leg. The same two markets may appear again with the legs reversed, which represents a different strategy.
Venues	The two legs can be on different venues or, where supported, on different markets of the same venue.
`x exc.`	Shows how many venues are available for that asset.
Leverage	Shows the available leverage for the strategy. It may differ depending on the markets used.
Strategy values	APR, funding, price spreads, liquidity, and other values in the row apply to that specific long/short combination. If a value is underlined, hover over it to see more information.
Action	Click Trade to open the strategy details, where you can review charts, market data, and execution settings. This view is explained in the next section. If Trade is unavailable, hover over it to see the reason.

## How to Use Arbitrage Desk Arbitrage Desk helps you narrow the available strategies, compare them, and open both legs from the same interface. ### Choose a Strategy Open VOOI Arbitrage Desk at Use **Search**, venue filters, **Asset Class**, and the **Filters** menu to narrow the strategy list before comparing individual strategies. {% hint style="info" %} * The example below is for demonstration purposes only and is intended to explain how to use Arbitrage Desk. For example, to find strategies across venues you want to trade on: * Select the venues you want to include (e.g. Hyperliquid and Lighter); * Optionally select an **Asset Class**; * Use the **Filters** menu to set minimum **Volume**, **OI**, **P Spread**, or **F Spread 8h** requirements (e.g. OI > 1M, P Spread > 0.1%); * Sort the table by **APR** to see strategies with the highest current APR first. The strategy list updates to show only combinations that match your criteria. If you already have a specific asset in mind, you can also use **Search** to narrow the results by symbol or name. The main row for each asset shows the top strategy for that asset based on the current sorting. For example, when sorting by **APR**, it shows the strategy with the highest APR for that asset. Click **+** next to an asset to view all available strategies and compare the long/short combinations. When comparing strategies, it may help to look at the parameters in this order: * **Funding opportunity:** check **APR** and **F Spread 8h**. * **Entry conditions:** check **P Spread** and **P Spread @ Size**. * **Liquidity and execution:** check **Price Impact**, **Volume**, and **OI**, especially for your intended position size. * **Recent market context:** use **Max F 1h / 24h**, **Max P 1h / 24h**, and **P Change** to compare the current values with recent market conditions. When you find a strategy you want to review in more detail, click **Trade**. Strategy Header	Shows the selected asset and identifies the Long and Short markets. Use it to confirm that you opened the intended strategy.
Market Summary	Shows the current P Spread, F Spread, prices, funding, OI, and volume for both legs. Use it for a quick check of the strategy’s current market conditions.
Historical Charts	Show how funding rates, funding spread, price spread, and other related values have changed over time. Use them to compare the current situation with recent market behavior.
Trading Panel	Used to configure and open both legs of the strategy. Here you can select the execution type, leverage, position size, and other available settings.
Order Books	Show the current buy and sell orders for both markets. Use them to see the available prices and liquidity for each leg.
Entry Economics	Summarizes the estimated economics of opening the strategy with the current settings, including trading costs, funding income, break-even time, required margin, and liquidation prices. Use it to evaluate the strategy after taking entry costs and position settings into account.
Positions and orders	Shows arbitrage positions, arbitrage orders, history, regular positions, orders, and trade history after activity is created. Use these tabs to monitor and review open and past trading activity.

#### Review Historical Charts Historical charts show how the selected strategy has behaved over time. Use them to compare the current values with recent market conditions and see whether a spread has been relatively stable or has changed significantly. Four chart views are available: 1. **Historical Funding Spread** 2. **Historical Price Spread** 3. **In/Out** 4. **P/F Dual** **Historical Funding Spread**



This chart shows how funding has changed for both legs of the strategy and how the difference between them has changed over time. The chart includes: Long — the funding rate of the long leg; Short — the funding rate of the short leg; Funding Spread — the difference between the funding rates of the two legs. The legend shows the current value for each line and identifies which market is used for the long and short leg. How to use it: Look at how the Funding Spread has behaved over time rather than relying only on its current value. This can help show whether the current funding opportunity has been relatively stable, has recently increased or decreased, or appeared only briefly.

This chart shows how funding has changed for both legs of the strategy and how the difference between them has changed over time.

The chart includes:

Long — the funding rate of the long leg;
Short — the funding rate of the short leg;
Funding Spread — the difference between the funding rates of the two legs.

The legend shows the current value for each line and identifies which market is used for the long and short leg.

### Configure and Open the Strategy Use the **Trading Panel** to configure the long and short legs before opening the strategy. The **Long** leg is shown on the left and the **Short** leg on the right.

**1. Select the Execution Type** The **Type** setting determines how the two orders are placed. * **Taker – Taker** — both legs use **Market** orders. Both orders are submitted at the same time. * **Maker – Taker** — one leg uses a **Limit** order and the other uses a **Market** order. You can choose which leg uses Limit and which uses Market. For **Maker – Taker**, the Limit order is placed first. The Market order for the other leg is submitted after the Limit order is filled. For the Limit leg, enter the price at which you want the order to be placed. **2. Set Leverage** Select the leverage separately for the **Long** and **Short** legs. Available leverage may differ between the two markets. **3. Set the Position Size** Enter the size for each leg manually or use the slider. You can configure the two legs separately or use: * **Copy to Short:** copies the Long leg size to the Short leg. * **Copy to Long:** copies the Short leg size to the Long leg. Check that the intended position size is set for both legs before continuing. **4. Set Take Profit / Stop Loss** If needed, enable **Take profit / Stop loss** separately for either leg and configure the corresponding exit conditions. This step is optional. **5. Review the Estimated Execution** Before opening the strategy, review the estimated execution values for both legs.

Value	What it shows
Available margin	The margin currently available on the venue for this leg.
Required margin	The estimated margin required for the configured position.
Position size	The resulting position size in the traded asset.
Mid price	The current midpoint between the best buy and sell prices.
Est. Liquidation price	The estimated price at which the position may be liquidated.
Est. Entry price	The estimated price at which the position is expected to open.
Est. slippage	The estimated difference between the current market price and the expected execution price.

Review both legs separately, since available margin, liquidity, entry price, and other execution conditions may differ between the two markets. The **Entry Economics** section below the order books provides an additional summary of the estimated costs and funding economics for the strategy with the current settings. **6. Open the Strategy** When both legs are configured and the estimated execution looks as expected, click **Open**. How the two orders are submitted depends on the selected execution type: * with **Taker – Taker**, both Market orders are submitted at the same time; * with **Maker – Taker**, the Limit order is placed first, and the Market order is submitted after the Limit order is filled. Market conditions can change between configuration and execution, so the final execution prices may differ from the estimates shown before opening the strategy. #### If the Open Button Is Not Available

If trading is not enabled for one of the venues used by the strategy, the **Open** button is replaced with **Enable trading on \[venue]**. This means that VOOI is not yet authorized or connected to trade on that venue. Complete the required setup before opening the strategy.

Once trading is enabled for both venues and sufficient funds are available, the **Open** button becomes available. ### Close an Arbitrage Position

Open arbitrage strategies are shown in the **Arbitrage Positions** tab. When closing a position, you can choose whether to close the entire strategy or only part of it. You can also close both legs together or manage each leg separately. {% hint style="info" %} Closing both legs together keeps the action within the arbitrage strategy flow. Closing one leg separately changes the balance between the Long and Short positions and may leave the remaining leg open on its own. {% endhint %} #### Close Both Legs Go to VOOI at and open **Arbitrage Positions**, find the strategy you want to close, and click **Close.**

1. Select the **execution type**: * **Taker – Taker:** both legs are closed with Market orders. * **Maker – Taker:** one leg is closed with a Limit order and the other with a Market order. 2. For **Maker – Taker**, choose which leg uses the Limit order and set the limit price. 3. Instead of integrating separately with each supported perpetual trading venue, an AI agent can connect to VOOI MCP and access VOOI Perps functionality through a single tool layer. VOOI MCP can be used to interact with supported trading venues through tools exposed to compatible AI clients, IDEs, and coding agents. ## What is VOOI MCP? VOOI MCP is a Model Context Protocol server for VOOI Perps API. It allows compatible AI agents to access VOOI trading tools through the MCP standard. The MCP client handles the agent interface, while VOOI MCP connects the agent to VOOI Perps API. VOOI MCP is designed for workflows such as: * checking open positions; * reviewing balances and account data; * working with perpetual trading venues through one interface; * using VOOI Perps tools from coding agents or AI-enabled IDEs. ## Supported clients VOOI MCP can be connected to several MCP-compatible clients: * **Codex CLI**\ Terminal-based coding agent. For persistent setup, add the export line to your shell profile and open a new terminal session. ### Connection refused or timeout If Codex cannot reach the VOOI MCP server, check your network connection. You can test the endpoint from a terminal: ``` curl -I https://perps-api.vooi.io/mcp ``` A VPN, proxy, firewall, or DNS filter can block the endpoint. ### 401 Unauthorized A `401 Unauthorized` error usually means the token is missing, expired, or malformed. Check that the environment variable is set: ``` echo $VOOI_API_TOKEN ``` If the variable is empty, set it again and restart Codex. If the variable is set but the error remains, generate a new VOOI API token and update `VOOI_API_TOKEN`. ### Config syntax error If Codex fails after manual config changes, check `config.toml` for syntax errors. # Connect Claude Desktop Configure Claude Desktop to use VOOI MCP tools ## Overview This guide explains how to connect the VOOI MCP server to Claude Desktop. After setup, VOOI tools will be available in Claude Desktop, allowing the assistant to interact with VOOI Perps through the MCP server. Claude Desktop uses local MCP server configuration. Because VOOI MCP is a remote HTTP server, this setup uses `mcp-remote` as a local bridge between Claude Desktop and the VOOI MCP endpoint. ## Important note Claude Desktop’s Custom Connectors UI currently supports OAuth authentication for remote MCP servers. VOOI MCP uses static Bearer token authentication. For this reason, VOOI MCP should be added through the local Claude Desktop configuration file, using `mcp-remote` to connect Claude Desktop to the remote VOOI MCP endpoint. ## Requirements Before you start, make sure you have: * Claude Desktop installed * Node.js installed * a VOOI API token * permission to edit the Claude Desktop MCP configuration Check that Node.js is installed: ``` node --version ``` If Node.js is not installed, install the LTS version from nodejs.org. ## Get a VOOI API token Generate a VOOI API token from the VOOI Ultra user token page: Copy the token immediately and store it securely. The token may not be shown again after you close the page. ## Open the Claude Desktop config file In Claude Desktop, open: **Settings** → **Developer** → **Edit Config** This opens or creates the Claude Desktop MCP configuration file. Then start Claude Desktop again. ## Verify the connection Open a new Claude Desktop chat. Open the tools menu and check that `vooi-perps` is available. You can test the connection with a prompt such as: ``` List my open VOOI perpetual positions and their PnL. ``` If the server is connected correctly, Claude Desktop should be able to access the VOOI MCP tools. ## Multiple MCP servers If you already have other MCP servers configured, add `vooi-perps` alongside them inside the same `mcpServers` object. For sub-accounts created with a **virtual email**, transfer the trading funds to the sub-account’s **USDⓈ-M Futures** balance. 1. Log in to your Binance Master Account. 2. Go to **Account > Sub Accounts > Asset Management**. 3. Click **Transfer** for the sub-account you want to fund. 4. To create a new sub-account or configure an existing one: 1. Log in to your MEXC master account at 2. MEXC officially supports enabling Futures for API-only sub-accounts from the master account's **Sub-Account Management** page. #### Futures Settings for Sub-account (Single-Asset Margin & One-Way Mode) {% hint style="info" %} Multi-Asset Margin is not supported for sub-accounts, so no separate **Account Asset Mode** configuration is required. {% endhint %} MEXC supports two types of sub-accounts. The Futures settings are handled differently depending on the account type. **API Only (No Web/App Login)** For **API Only** sub-accounts **One-Way Mode** is the default MEXC Futures position mode. If the position mode needs to be checked and changed, it can be managed through the MEXC Futures API. To transfer funds to the sub-account: 1. Go to **Sub-Account Management > Asset Management**. 2. Click **Transfer** next to the sub-account to fund. 3. Select the master account as the source and the sub-account as the destination. 4. Select the asset and enter the amount. 5. Confirm the transfer. ### Create API Key for Sub-account

1. Open VOOI Ultra at 2. Go to the MEXC connection flow. 3. Paste the **Access Key**. 4. Paste the **Secret Key**. 5. Press **Enable Trading**. After the connection is enabled, MEXC Futures trading will be available in VOOI Ultra if the API key permissions and account settings are configured correctly. Balance synchronization may take up to 5–10 minutes. # Connect Bybit Futures to VOOI Ultra This guide explains how to connect a Bybit account to VOOI Ultra using an API key. You can connect either: * Your **Bybit Main Account**; * A dedicated **Bybit Subaccount**. Once connected, you can trade supported Bybit markets through VOOI Ultra. ### Before You Start Make sure that: * Your Bybit account is ready for trading; * The account has access to **Unified Trading**; * The account has sufficient funds available for trading. You will also need to create a Bybit API key and add the required VOOI Ultra IP addresses. ## Use Bybit Main Account Use this section if you want to connect your Bybit Main Account directly to VOOI Ultra and trade using its Unified Trading balance. ### Create a Bybit API Key for Main Account 1. Log in to Bybit at . 2. Go to **API Management**. 3. Click **Create New Key**. 4. Select **System-generated API Keys**. 5. For **API Key Usage**, select **API Transaction**. 6. Under **Unified Trading**, enable: 1. **Orders** 2. **Positions** 3. **USDC Derivatives Trading** 4. **Trade** under Spot 11. Under **Assets → Wallet**, enable **one** of the following permissions: 1. **Account Transfer** (recommended) 2. **Subaccount Transfer** 3. **Withdrawal**\ \ **Important:** Only one of these permissions is required. We recommend **Account Transfer** as the least sensitive option for this setup.
12. Leave other permissions disabled unless you need them for another purpose. 13. Click **Submit**. 14. Complete the required Bybit security verification if prompted. 15. It may not be available again later. {% endhint %} #### Additional Market Agreements Bybit requires additional agreements to trade certain markets through Subaccounts. There are two separate agreements: * One for **stocks, ETFs, and metals**; * One for **oil**. Only the agreement required for the markets you want to trade needs to be accepted. The agreement is accepted on the **Bybit Main Account** and then applies to eligible Subaccounts under that Main Account. If you connect your **Main Account** to VOOI, VOOI can handle the agreement through the Main Account API key. For this, the API key must have at least one of the following permissions enabled: * **Account Transfer** — recommended * **Subaccount Transfer** * **Withdrawal** Only **one** of these permissions is required. If you connect a **Subaccount** to VOOI, VOOI only uses the API key created for that Subaccount and cannot accept the agreement on the Main Account. In this case, accept the required agreement directly on Bybit using the **Main Account**. ### Connect the Main Account to VOOI Ultra

1. Open VOOI Ultra at . 2. Select **Bybit**. 3. Enter the **API Key** and **Secret Key** created on Bybit. 4. Enable trading. Once the API key is connected and the account has sufficient funds, you can trade supported Bybit markets through VOOI Ultra. *** ## Use Bybit Subaccount Use this section if you want to keep VOOI Ultra trading separate from your Main Account by using a dedicated Bybit Subaccount. ### Create a Bybit Subaccount

1. Log in to your Bybit Main Account at . 2. Go to **Subaccount**. 3. Click **Create Subaccount**. 4. Select **Standard Account:** 1. **Standard Account is recommended for VOOI.** It provides access to the Subaccount interface and its settings. 2. **Custodial Account** is designed for delegated asset management, while 3. **Islamic Account** has a more limited set of available products. 5. Enter a nickname for the Subaccount. 6. Optionally, create login credentials if you want to log in to the Subaccount directly. 7. Create the Subaccount. Once created, the Subaccount will appear in your Subaccount list. You can use **Switch** to open the Subaccount or **Transfer** to move funds to it. *** ### Fund the Subaccount Transfer the funds you want to use for trading to the Subaccount’s **Unified Trading** balance. 1. From the Bybit Main Account, open **Subaccount**. 2. Find the Subaccount you want to fund. 3. Click **Transfer**. 4. Select the Main Account as the source. 5. Select the Subaccount as the destination. 6. Select **Unified Trading** for the Subaccount. 7. Select the asset and enter the amount. 8. Confirm the transfer. You can also fund the Subaccount later. Because Bybit uses Unified Trading, there is no separate Spot → Futures transfer step. ### Create a Bybit API Key for Subaccount 1. From the Subaccount list, click **Switch** for the Subaccount you want to connect. 2. You will be taken to the Subaccount interface. 3. Open **API Management**. 4. Click **Create New Key**. 5. Trading activity through this connection uses the funds and positions of that Subaccount. ### Deposits and Withdrawals For a Bybit Subaccount, move funds between the Main Account and Subaccount using Bybit’s internal **Transfer** function. Use the Subaccount’s **Unified Trading** balance for trading through VOOI Ultra. For Main Account deposits and external withdrawals, use Bybit directly. # Ultra Trading Fees This page outlines the trading fee structure for venues currently supported on **VOOI Ultra**: [https://ultra.vooi.io](https://ultra.vooi.io/). Trading fees are an essential part of how DeFi operates, compensating liquidity providers and ensuring healthy market balance. Each supported venue has its own fee model, while VOOI provides transparent access to these structures for better cost awareness. Please note: all fees are determined by the respective venue and are subject to change. ### Bybit Bybit Perpetual & Futures trading fees depend on the account VIP level, order type, market, and region. The VOOI Unified Trading Terminal (VOOI Pro) provides a comprehensive interface for trading across multiple perpetual decentralized exchanges (perp DEXs), trading marketplaces and blockchain networks. This terminal is designed to facilitate a streamlined trading experience, enhancing the functionality available to traders within the decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape. Although it is not a financial advisor, it provides helpful contextual suggestions based on the current state of assets. ## **Supported Trading Functions** VOOI Pro enables traders to execute several types of trading operations, which are crucial for effective trading management. These functions include: * **Market Orders**: Allow traders to execute trades at the best available prices immediately. * **Limit Orders**: Enable setting trades to execute at predetermined price levels. * **Stop Limit Orders:** Once the stop price is reached, the order becomes a limit order at the specified limit price. * **Stop Loss Orders**: Facilitate the automation of selling a security when its price drops to a set level, to mitigate losses. * **Take Profit Orders**: Allow traders to define a price at which to close a position to realize profits. * **Portfolio Management**: Provides tools for viewing and managing one’s portfolio, monitoring asset distribution and performance across various platforms in real-time. The implementation of these features is intended to optimize trading strategies and improve the management of trade positions and portfolio distributions. # Pro Operational Guidelines ## Getting Started with VOOI Pro Before placing an order, it helps to understand how the trading screen is organized. The terminal consists of four main areas:

**Market overview (left side)**\ Used to understand what is happening in the market. ### (3) Enable Trading and Deposit or Move Collateral Before opening positions, trading needs to be enabled on the selected venue and collateral needs to be deposited to the trading account. #### Enabling trading When using a venue for the first time, an account is created by signing a message in your wallet. This operation is free and only confirms wallet ownership. Some venues combine account creation with first collateral deposit. If the interface shows **Enable trading**, click the button and sign the request in your wallet. #### Depositing or transferring collateral (margin) Collateral is required to open and maintain leveraged positions. Example (Hyperliquid collateral settings): * Collateral token: **USDC** * Network: **Arbitrum** If your funds are on another network or in a different token, use [VOOI Pro bridge/swap section](https://pro.vooi.io/bridges) to convert them before depositing. **To deposit funds:** 1. Click **Deposit** 2. {% endcolumn %} {% column width="58.33333333333333%" %} **(1) Choose direction** * **Long:** profit if price rises * **Short:** profit if price falls **(2) Choose order type** * **Market:** instant execution * **Limit:** execution at chosen price * **Stop Limit:** order triggers later when price reaches a level **(3) Set order values** * **Leverage:** how large the position is relative to collateral (leverage increases both potential profit and potential loss) * **Size:** how much collateral you use (your risk level) * **Max slippage:** price protection during execution Optional but recommended: * **Take Profit / Stop Loss** — automatic exit levels **(4) Order details** Shows estimated cost, fees and slippage before submission. {% endcolumn %} {% endcolumns %} When ready place the order: press **Open Long** or **Open Short** and confirm in the wallet. The position will appear in the **Positions** tab at the bottom of the terminal. Pending orders appear in the **Orders** tab:

Here you can monitor positions, manage orders, and review your trading history. Available tabs: * **Positions**\ Shows all open positions with key details such as size, entry price, unrealized PnL and liquidation price. * **Orders**\ Displays active (pending) orders that have not been executed yet. These orders can be cancelled at any time. * **History:**\ Contains the record of executed trades, closed positions and past orders. * **TP / SL:** Displays take profit and stop loss orders. You can modify or cancel these orders before execution. #### **Settling PnL** Profit and Loss (PnL) reflects how a position performs over time. On some venues, PnL can be **settled without closing the position**. This means the current profit or loss is realized and added to the available balance, while the position remains open and continues to move with the market. ### (6) Close Position To close a position, use the Positions panel at the bottom of the terminal:

1. Open the **Positions** tab (this tab shows all currently open positions) 2. Choose how to close the position *** There are two main ways to close: * **Instant close**\ Click **Close** next to the position to submit a Market order that closes it immediately. * **Close using TP/SL**\ Use the **TP/SL** button to set **Take Profit** and/or **Stop Loss** levels that will close the position automatically when the price reaches the selected levels. *** 3. Manage TP/SL orders\ All active Take Profit and Stop Loss orders can be viewed and managed in the **TP/SL** tab.\ There you can edit or cancel existing exit orders. 4. View trade history\ All executed orders are available in the **History** tab. ### (7) Withdraw

If you decide to stop trading or reduce your exposure, you can withdraw funds from your trading account. There are two common scenarios: 1. **Withdraw unused collateral**\ You can withdraw free (unused) collateral at any time.\ Funds that are locked in open positions cannot be withdrawn. 2. **Withdraw all funds**\ To withdraw the full balance: 1. Close all open positions 2. Cancel any pending orders 3. Ensure all collateral is available 4. Withdraw the remaining balance #### How to Withdraw 1. Click **Withdraw** at the top of the terminal. 2. After confirmation, the funds will be transferred from your trading account back to your wallet. **Important:** * Only available (free) collateral can be withdrawn * Open positions must be closed before withdrawing all funds * Processing time depends on the venue and network conditions * Fees may apply depending on venue rules *** ## Aster: Trading Mode Settings When trading on Aster through VOOI, the following modes are currently supported: * **Cross Margin** – your margin is shared across all positions. * **Multi-Asset Mode** – trades are backed by multiple assets used together as collateral, allowing positions to share margin across supported tokens. * **One-Way Mode** – Positions can only be opened in one direction (either long or short) per trading pair **Other Modes:** Aster also supports **Isolated Margin, Single-Asset Mode, and Hedge Mode**, but these are not yet available on **VOOI Pro**. By default, Aster uses **Cross Margin, Multi-Asset Mode, and One-Way Mode**. If settings differ, it may prevent trading through VOOI on Aster. **To configure the supported modes:** 1. Open Aster directly: 2. Connect the same wallet you use to log in to **VOOI Pro**. 3. Enable trading. 4. Then return to VOOI to continue trading. *** ## Hyperliquid: Disabling Unified Account Mode When trading on Hyperliquid through VOOI, **Unified Account Mode is not supported**. If Unified Account Mode is enabled on Hyperliquid, trading through VOOI will be unavailable and a notification will appear in the VOOI trading interface. To disable **Unified Account Mode** 1. Open Hyperliquid directly: 2. Connect the same wallet you use to log in to **VOOI**. 3. Enable trading if you have not done so yet. 4. It works by opening an offsetting position against an existing one. This can help reduce losses if the market moves in the opposite direction. A hedge can be: * **full**, when the offsetting position is equal in size * **partial**, when the offsetting position reduces only part of the risk For example: * Long ETH: **1 ETH** * Short ETH: **0.5 ETH** If the ETH price falls: * the long position loses value * the short position gains value #### How to Hedge Not all venues allow traders to keep offsetting positions open at the same time on the same pair. There are usually two models: * **One-way mode:** if a trader already has a long position and opens a short position on the same market and pair, the short usually reduces, closes, or reverses the existing long position.\ If a venue does not support hedge mode, an offsetting position can still be opened on a different venue. * **Hedge mode:** the venue allows both long and short positions to remain open on the same pair at the same time. **VOOI Ultra** supports hedging across supported venues, allowing traders to keep both long and short positions open on the same trading pair at the same time:

## Understanding Leverage ### What is Leverage Leverage allows traders to open positions that are larger than the amount of funds they deposit. Instead of using the full position value, the trader provides only a portion of it as **collateral (margin)**. The rest of the position value is effectively borrowed within the trading system. **Example:** | Collateral | Leverage | Position size | | ---------- | -------- | ------------- | | 1,000 USDC | 10x | 10,000 USDC | In this example, the trader uses **1,000 USDC** as collateral to control a **10,000 USDC** position. Leverage increases both potential **profits and losses**. ### Collateral (Margin) Collateral is the amount of your funds allocated to open and maintain a leveraged position. Collateral serves two purposes: * It allows the position to be opened * It absorbs potential losses if the market moves against the position ### **Position Liquidation** **Liquidation** is the automatic closing of a leveraged position when the losses approach the collateral used for that position. When you open a leveraged position you risk only your collateral used for the position. If the market moves strongly against the position, losses reduce the collateral, but not borrowed funds. When the collateral becomes too small to support the position, the system automatically closes it. This process is called **liquidation**. **Example:** Collateral: **2,000 USDC**\ Leverage: **40x**\ Position size: **80,000 USDC** You open a **long BTC position** at **80,000 USDC, buing 1 USDC** If the BTC price falls, the position starts losing value. These losses are deducted from the **2,000 USDC collateral**. If the price drops far enough and most of the collateral is used to cover losses, the system will automatically close the position to prevent further losses. This automatic closure is called **liquidation**. In this case, the position would theoretically lose all collateral if the price dropped to about 78,000 USDC. In practice, liquidation usually happens earlier (for example around 78,500–79,000 USDC) due to maintenance margin requirements and trading fees. Different order types determine how a position is opened or closed. Some are used to enter the market, while others are used to exit a position or manage risk. This article explains the main order types supported in VOOI and the differences between them. ## Order Types for Opening Positions

In the Order Panel, choose the order type before placing an order to open a position: **Market** (instant execution) * A market order opens a position immediately at the best available market price. * **Execution:** Filled immediately at the best available market price. In fast-moving markets, the final price may differ slightly from the displayed price. * **Scenario:** It is used when entering the market quickly is more important than getting a specific price. **Limit** (execution at chosen price) * A limit order opens a position only at your chosen price or at a better price. * **Execution:** Filled only if the market reaches the specified limit price or a better price. * **Scenario:** It is used when you want more control over your entry price. The order will remain open until the market reaches that price, unless it is canceled. **Stop Limit** (order triggers when price reaches a level) * A stop limit order places a limit order after the market reaches a specified stop price. * **Execution:** When the specified stop price is reached, a limit order is placed. That order is filled only if the market then reaches the specified limit price.”. * **Scenario:** It is used when you want the order to activate only after price reaches a certain level, while still keeping control over the maximum or minimum execution price. ## Orders Types for Closing Positions Orders to close a position are used to exit an existing trade. **Where in the trading terminal** **to place orders to close positions:** * **Market order** to close a position is placed from the **Open Positions** section:
